High quality replacement (non-branded) Panasonic VW-VBG130 battery and 6 in 1 fast travel charger is an essential item for anyone with a digital camera. Ideal with a spare battery; lets you charge a replacement battery whilst still being able to use your camera at home or on the move. Important Information for Battery - please read.: 1. The battery cannot be charged using the original charger (Please use the special Travel Charger supplied). 2. Remaining power cannot be displayed on the camera when inserted. Battery needs to be fully charged before use to ensure fully charged. 3. Panasonic VW-VBG130/260 batteries have a built-in data chip which sends the remaining battery life back to the camcorder. The chip, with it's encrypted software on-board, cannot be copied outright like the branded battery. Our solution does not send the battery life to the camcorder (as this is the part the encryption covers); this feature can only be gained if you buy an original Panasonic battery. The replacement battery can only be charged on the supplied charger; charging it on any other charger will damage it beyond repair. The supplied charger can charge the included battery as well as Panasonic original VW-VBGxxx batteries. The kit comes with a ROUND plastic lug which must be placed into the DC socket of the camcorder before installing the replacement battery - trying to use the battery without fitting these will cause the camcorder to display the message: "This battery cannot be used ". The charger plates are inter-changeable and we sell for a range of Camcorder and Camera Batteries. We also sell a AA/AAA charger plate (not supplied). The multiple voltage charger can be used anywhere in the world because it is compatible with any mains voltage between 100 to 240V, all you need is the correct adaptor! If you have trouble finding a mains outlet, then you can plug the charger to any 12/24V car, boat or caravan outlet. This digital battery charger has a moulded UK 3 pin mains plug and a car cigarette lighter connector, enabling you to charge while on the move. The charger has a LED to indicate charging in process and changes from red to green when fully charged. This charger will charge branded batteries as well as equivalent non-branded batteries.
